“Aaple Sarkar” The Maharashtra State, Public Grievance Redressal Portal Receives “Skoch Award” for Smart Governance
New Delhi, India- “Aaple Sarkar” Maharastra State Government’s Public Grievance Redressal Portal has added yet another feather to its flock. At the 41st Skoch Summit held on the 22nd and 23rd of September 2015, Aaple Sarkar was felicitated with the Skoch Award for Smart Governance.
The Skoch Summit was dedicated to transformative governance initiatives, and the public grievance redressal portal was appreciated for its efforts towards ensuring transparency between government and citizens. After being appreciated for being the “egovernance initiative of the year” at the eLets 2015 awards ceremony held at Goa, the portal bagged its second appreciation in the form of smart initiative.
The application designed and developed by Silver Touch Technologies Ltd. composes of mobile app, a portal and a backend system, which enables mobility and transparency thus guiding the whole grievance redressal system.

Currently, the first phase of the portal has been launched. By early next year, the second and final phase of the project would be initiated too which will take the Public Grievance System to the grass roots level.
