About Client:Client is Australia’s largest mobile company with 6.3 million subscribers. Client enjoys 94% market share of mobile market in Australia by offering 3G services, video calling.

Requirement Overview: Web based intranet portal for performance evaluation for 500+ employees on real time. Indigenously developed application and deployed on the existing infrastructure. Major modules:

  1. Role Based User Interface
  2. Employee Management
  3. .Performance Record Management Including Plan, Review, Rating and Career Goals.
  4. 360 degree feedback

Solution: This application has given the management and employees a 360 degree view to create and follow the achievement plan and helped streamline performance appraisal, performance rating and career goal management. This has brought in transparency to the system and helped each to set right expectations. HR function is now operating in a more matured way.

Project Description

The ultimate objective is to develop intranet portal to know the performance evaluation of the employees. This application will help each employee of the organization to create an achievement plan. The application will allow each employee to create individual plan in their account. Each employee will be able to view their previous plan in their account, add new plan and predefine activities in the task and define timeline as they want. The manager of the organization will allocate the specific task to each employee. Each manager will be able to view and track the records of employees who are working under them.

The site administrator will be able to view and track entire employees’ reports of the organization. Manager and Administrator will be able to rate each employee activity. Manager will have an option to write feedback to the employees and employee has thesame option to write the feedback on their work and upload the documents if necessary. The application “My Achieve Plan” will display summary of each individual employee’s task reports.

Objectives

The Project Objectives were:

  1. Required to create and provide best solutions to performance evaluation report.
  2. Required to provide best solutions for ratings of each employee in the application.
  3. Required to create summary reports of entire information of individual users of the application.

Project Approach / Activities

The Project was divided into various phases to achieve the best results in less time with optimal utilization of available technology (ASP .Net, VB .Net) features, capabilities and new enhancements.

  1. Phase I: Understand client system requirement approach with the technology platform and create Software design development approach and sent it to client to let them know our understanding.
  2. Phase II: Approved design by client has been incorporated into the development.
    • Design has implemented into the specific technology platform.
    • Started to work on development
  3. Phase III: Development is based on module requirement as per the existing website.
  4. Phase IV: Development phase has done to the client side.
