The Client:
Client is based in Italy. For over 10 years client has been working for important companies, suggesting them the best strategies and realizing their websites, portals, advertising campaigns and software. While this has earned them awards around the globe, most importantly has allowed them to assist their clients in extending, expanding and developing their businesses in the digital world.
Business Needs:
Client wanted to develop document management system that should allow them to search all the organized documents as fast as possible using web browsers.
Our Solution:
Silver Touch had developed a Document Management System based on Alfresco open source platform. The system used to access files via web browsers and it has features like search within the documents, organize and tag contents and version files/contents. The users from Finance, Accounts & Production departments manage the project, production, finance, and strategic documents along with personal documents using the system. System allows creating Project documents to be client specific also. Different access levels are maintained in the system for managing which document shall be accessible to which user.
