Softex Inc., the leader in PC and Mobile Security Solutions, today announced the appointment of Vicki Mitchell as its new vice president of engineering. Mitchell brings with her more than two decades of developing market-leading system and application software products.

The Mitchell announcement was coupled with the celebration of the Softex fifteen year anniversary. Prior to joining Softex, Mitchell held various leadership positions at SigmaTel, Inc, most recently as director of engineering the Portable Systems Group. Prior to SigmaTel, Vicki worked for Cirrus Logic, Inc. and TEAM Development Corp. She holds a B.S. in Software Engineering from Colorado Technical University
